Alessandra.

I’m a California-born English teacher, linguist and professional artist based in Tbilisi.

I’ve taught English for more than ten years, including professionals from EU institutions and international companies in Luxembourg and Brussels. I’m bilingual in English and Russian, and my background spans language, art and cultural education.

I created Hi to bring those worlds together: thoughtful teaching, interesting ideas and spaces where people actually want to talk.

What exactly is Hi?

Hi is a growing English and creative space in Tbilisi — built around conversation, culture, art and people. Right now that includes Hi. Speak and private English lessons, with Hi. Read and Hi. Paint taking shape next.

Do I need perfect English to join?

Definitely not. Different Hi formats may have different recommended levels, but the goal is real communication, not perfect grammar. For Hi. Speak, B1 is currently recommended.

Who is behind Hi?

Hi was created by Alessandra — a California-born English teacher, linguist and professional artist based in Tbilisi, with more than 10 years of teaching experience.

How can I take part?

You can join a Hi event, book a private English lesson, or follow along as new formats launch. Current events and booking details are always posted on Instagram at @hi.space.tbilisi.

Can I collaborate with Hi?
